Begin by inserting the right size tips for each nail into the corresponding finger canal of your practice hand. Lightly spray IPA70% on the back of each nail tip. This helps them glide smoothly into the finger canal. Push each tip into the deep canal as far as it will comfortably go and until it feels firmly in place and is ready to be used.
Once done, you can perform any technique: nail art, acrylic nails, gel nails, etc. The practice hand is adapted for use under LED and UV lamps.
Just like when working with a real person, you should avoid touching the silicone skin with your nail file or nail bit. Contact between the file and the silicone can damage the external lifelike colouring of the silicone. We advise creating the tips’ shape away from the practice hand to prevent silicone surface abrasion.
After finishing, simply remove the nail tips. To facilitate easier removal, spray a little water between the tips and the silicone for smooth glide.
